Storage life

When the bottle remains originally sealed, natural mineral water has a virtually unlimited storage life. Natural purity, hygienic bottling and the conserving effect of the carbonic acid are determining factors regarding the long lasting freshness. Nevertheless the law demands information on the storage life, a sell by date. Depending on the packaging the storage life is usually one to two years.

Mineral water in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles can slowly lose some of its carbon dioxide due to the not hermetically sealing density of PET, as well as the screw caps. This is why the storage life on mineral water in PET bottles is roughly a year. It can nevertheless be consumed without any concern even after the sell by date.
