Gerolstein, 03/23/2006. The Gerolsteiner Brunnen GmbH & Co. KG will be involved in the "Tour of Germany" - Germany's most important stage tour - until and including the year 2008.
Germany's leading mineral water brand from the Eifel has already achieved international publicity in cycling sports by giving the UCI Pro Team Gerolsteiner its name and being its main sponsor. The team?s path to success and its popularity have been going steadily uphill since the team was founded in 1998.
The readers of ProCycling magazine voted the Gerolsteiner to be "the most popular team in 2005". To no small degree this is due to the overall victory and the third place in the Tour of Germany 2005.
With its commitment to the Tour of Germany, Gerolsteiner is strategically expanding cycling sports as a sphere of communications.
