Gerolsteiner is fizzling, sparkling and refreshing.
Due to its well balanced flavor Gerolsteiner is the ideal refreshing beverage to have along for every occasion – and it is also the reason why Gerolsteiner is the most popular mineral water in Germany. But what exactly is it that makes it so special – and how does it differ from other waters?
Naturally refreshing

Minerals play a decisive role when it comes to influencing the flavor of a water. They thus for instance neutralize the acidic nature of the carbonic acid. Minerals can however also cloud the flavor: If for instance the level of sodium is too high and this is combined with too much chloride the result is a salty aftertaste.
Mineral waters that are high in sulfate often taste bitter. And how about the Gerolsteiner water? Gerolsteiner is naturally high in valuable calcium and magnesium, while at the same time containing comparatively little sodium, chloride and sulfate. Due to this natural balance, Gerolsteiner tastes neither salty nor bitter but simply refreshingly natural.
Naturally pure

The taste of Gerolsteiner is a hundred percent natural – with good cause. After all, anything that is perfect by nature requires no additives. Filtered through the rock layers of the Volcanic Eifel the mineral water collects at a depth of up to 200 meters – rich in invigorating carbonic acid and containing a well balanced amount of minerals. There it is protected by external influences, remaining fresh and pure due to the carbon dioxide. Gerolsteiner is bottled directly at the source to retain its natural purity, and this singular freshness can be tasted – sip for sip!
